Activities Registration 2024-2025

Beginning July 17, 2024, online registration will be available for student activities! To register for activities, a student must first be registered for the fall semester and have their district-issued student identification number.

Prior to the first day of practice, each student must complete the following:

1. Complete a NDHSAA physical evaluation with a healthcare provider dated after April 15, 2024.
2. Register on our Activity Registration Website and upload a signed digital copy of your student's physical
3. Submit participation fee payment via MySchoolBucks AFTER you have registered.
   • If your family receives free or reduced lunch, please reach out to our activities assistant, Taryn Hilber, to have the fee waived!  thilber@west-fargo.k12.nd.us

2025 Spring Activities Starting Dates:

Track and Field (Boys and Girls):  Begins Monday, April 1 at 4:00 pm in the commons. Coach Garrett Anderson. Registration is open.  Grades 7-8

Baseball – Begins on Monday, March 17 at 4:00 PM. The location to be determined dependent on weather.  Coach Jason Beilke. The parent meeting is Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00 PM in the SHS Commons. More information can be found here.  Grades 8-12

Softball – Begins on Monday, March 17 at 4:00 PM. The location to be determined dependent on weather. Coach Mark Woodbury. The parent meeting is on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00 PM in the SHS Multipurpose Room. Grades 7-12

Girls Soccer – Begins on Monday, March 24 at 4:00 PM in the SHS Commons or the Sheyenne . Coach Amer Vatres. The parent meeting is Monday, January 27^th at 6:00 PM in the SHS Multipurpose Room. Grades 7-12

Girls Tennis – Begins on Monday March, 31 at 4:00 PM on the SHS Tennis Court, weather dependent.  Coach Huan Gu. The parent meeting is Thursday, April 3, 7:00 PM in the SHS Multipurpose Room. Grades 7-12

Boys Golf – Begins on Monday, April 7 at 4:00 PM at the Village Green Golf Course in Moorhead, MN, weather dependent.  Coach Dan Wolf. The parent meeting is Monday, April 14^th in the SHS Multipurpose Room at 5:30 pm. Grades 7-12.

**All player participation fees should be paid on My School Bucks before the first contest of the activity and registration should be complete with a valid sports physical on file in the registration profile before the start date of the activity. Players will not be permitted to participate without the completed registration and sports physical submitted online. Sheyenne 7-12 Activities

If your student(s) are competing in a 7th-12th sport (i.e. Tennis, Swimming, Soccer, Golf, etc.) you will still need to Register through Liberty Middle School. Please check the Sheyenne Activities webpage and Sheyenne Activities Calendar for practice and tryout information.

6th Grade Intramurals

Intramural volleyball is open to all 6th graders and will run from March 3 to March 14, Monday through Friday after school from 4:00 to 5:30 PM.

Intramural basketball is open to all 6th graders and will run from March 17 to March 28, Monday through Friday (excluding March 20 and 21) after school from 4:00 to 5:30 PM.

There will be no games, as the focus is on developing and improving skills. This program provides students with an opportunity to experience a middle school practice setting, helping them decide if they’d like to participate next year.

Students must be registered on the Liberty Middle School activity site and pay the $20 intramural fee through MySchoolBucks. No physical is required.

If your student qualifies for free or reduced lunch, the fee is waived—please contact Taryn to ensure the waiver is applied.

Schedules

Please be advised: game schedules will be released as soon as they are approved. We apologize for any inconvenience and will get them posted on rSchool as soon as we can. 

Game schedules, practice schedules, and the fall play rehearsal schedule can be located on the Liberty Activities Calendar. *Please note that once game schedules are posted, players are expected to get practice information directly from their coaches.

Reminders

All 7th & 8th grade sports need an updated physical on file, dated on or after April 15, 2024. You can upload the physical when registering for activities online. No hard copies of physicals will be accepted. 

All Player Participation Fees are paid online through MySchoolBucks, no cash or checks will be accepted.
